Job Position: Printing Machine Operator

Location: Valdosta, GA 31601

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Shift: 7am-3:00pm

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Set up and operate printing machines to produce printed materials according to job specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the printing process.
- Adjust machine settings, such as ink flow, pressure, and speed, to achieve desired output.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load paper, ink, and other materials into the machine as needed for production runs.
- Inspect printed materials for accuracy, alignment, and color consistency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues during production.
- Maintain accurate records of production details, including job logs and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.


Qualifications & Requirements
- Familiarity with various types of printing machines, such as digital, offset, or flexographic printers.
- Understanding of printing techniques, processes, and materials.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform equipment adjustments and minor repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies in printed materials.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and blueprints.
- Good organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and operate machinery.
- Basic math and computer skills for machine calibration and record-keeping.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing or production environment with potential exposure to noise and ink odors.
