Peter Robbins Law LLC operates an office in Indianapolis, IN supporting diverse communities and offering services in English, Spanish and French (though clients speaking other languages are also welcome).\nRole Description The Associate Attorney will work in a full-time, hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN, with the option to perform some duties from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a caseload of immigration matters, conducting legal research, drafting motions and briefs, preparing applications, and providing legal advice to clients. The role involves representing clients in administrative proceedings and hearings, negotiating on clients’ behalf when appropriate, and communicating regularly with clients and external stakeholders. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with Attorney Peter and support staff, maintain accurate case documentation, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.\n\nQualifications\n\n\n Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated interest or experience in Immigration Law and Criminal Law.\n Ability to provide clear, accurate Legal Advice and guidance to clients in complex matters.\n Proficiency in legal Research, including case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and drafting legal documents.\n Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, advocating for clients, and achieving favorable outcomes.\n Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; eligibility for Indiana admission preferred.\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.\n Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\n Professional fluency in Spanish is highly beneficial; experience working with diverse and immigrant communities is a plus. Other languages also highly valued.\n
