Washington Regional Urgent Care Medical AssistantWashington Regional Urgent Care is looking for experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Springdale, AR.JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, and maintaining accurate records.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.Promptly greets patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray roomConsistently communicates with patients on wait times; provides direction to the next step in the treatment processProvides solutions to patient problems and recognizes and seeks help in emergent/hazardous situationsExecutes follow-up calls with a sense of urgencyAssist front desk personnel with patient check in/out procedures when necessaryObtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and weight, takes brief history, past medical, family and social history current medications, allergies and other pertinent historical information as appropriateAssists with patient transfersAssists with procedures directly supervised by the providerFollows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visitWHAT'S THE SCHEDULE? Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.WHAT'S REQUIRED?
