The Operating Room (OR) Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing staff and daily operations within the surgical department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.- Supervise and coordinate the activities of operating room nurses and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, surgical protocols, and safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling staff and managing operating room workflow.
- Monitor patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluation for OR nursing staff.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to maintain efficient surgical services.
- Address issues related to staffing, equipment, or patient safety in the operating room
