Job Details Location: 015 Rayford Road, Spring, TX 77386. Position Type: Full Time. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. If a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required by your state of issuance, you may need to obtain it. A Texas driver’s license is required to maintain eligibility to drive on behalf of Specs, as required by the insurance company. Texas requires all new resident drivers to obtain a Texas license within 90 days of residing in the state. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Know and actively demonstrate our Company Mission Statement and Core Values daily. Maintain uniform standards as detailed in the Employee Manual for all worked hours. Maintain a clear driving record. Practice safe driving practices and speeds. Keep the vehicle neat and orderly. Move supplies and equipment when needed to ensure efficient storage space in the delivery vehicle. Receive and verify the contents of all shipments to be delivered. Make notes on invoices showing variances and products damaged during store deliveries. Return products damaged during deliveries, including TABC tax stamps. Maintain a driver route sheet after every stop. Ensure compliance with the standardized filing system for store‑to‑store transfer paperwork and pick‑ups. Assist in unloading as required by location needs. Receive payment for deliveries and verify amounts accurately. Inform manager of inventory issues or discrepancies with invoices encountered on route. Provide feedback to management regarding issues with delivery vans and box trucks. Carry out directives of management efficiently. Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail. Practice teamwork and cooperation with others. Create and maintain strong professional relationships with our customers. Provide superb customer service. Possess time‑management skills and prioritize tasks. Manage stress in a fast‑paced environment. Work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA. Communicate with and understand team members and guests; review invoices, products, payment methods, and signage. Use industrial machines to move full pallets weighing up to 2400 pounds. Perform other projects or job duties assigned by management. Attendance and timeliness are required – this is not a job that can be done from home. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Hours Full‑time: 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all scheduled shifts each week. Part‑time: up to 25 hours per week. Working outside of scheduled time without Manager approval is prohibited. Qualifications At least 1–2 years of driving experience; high school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos. Proficient oral communication with coworkers and guests; bilingual a plus. Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without calculator. Attitudinal: responsible, reliable, committed to excellent service; patience, friendliness, outgoing personality. Self‑starter with strong work ethic; completes assignments promptly and seeks next task. Must be over 21 years old. Valid Class C driver’s license. Must be available full‑time Monday through Saturday (8a.m.–9p.m.). Willing to load truck and lift a ½ keg with dolly assistance. Great customer‑service skills. Physical Demands The job requires standing, walking, or bending; use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; talking and hearing. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50pounds and occasionally up to 100pounds with proper tools. Must use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400pounds. Requires close, distance, and depth vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment and Conditions Driving in all types of weather; moderate to loud noise levels. Provides a fun and positive environment for staff. Certificates, Licenses and Reasoning Ability Valid Class C driver’s license. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
