Position Overview

The Chef dePartieis responsible formanaging a designated pastry section and delivering consistently high-quality desserts and baked goodsin accordance withfive-star luxury hotel standards. This role requires strong technical pastry skills organization teamwork and strict adherence to quality hygiene and brand standards.

WhatYoullDo

Pastry Production

• Prepare and execute desserts pastries breads cakes and plated desserts as directed.
• Assist in production for restaurants banquets events and in-room dining.
• Follow standardized recipesportioncontrol and plating guidelines.
• Support chocolate sugar and bakery production as assigned.

Quality & Presentation

• Maintain consistent quality flavor and visual presentation aligned with luxury hotel standards.
• Ensure all products are prepared fresh and displayed attractively.
• Perform daily quality checks of ingredients and finished products.

Hygiene Safety & Standards

• Comply with HACCP food safety and sanitation regulationsat all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations equipment and storage areas.
• Follow proper food handling labeling and storage procedures.

Teamwork & Operation

• Work closely with pastry team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Follow instructions from senior pastry chefs accurately and efficiently.
• Support daily operations during service periods andspecial events.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Assistwith receiving storing and rotating pastry ingredients.
• Minimize waste and report shortages or quality issues promptly.
• Properly use and care for pastry tools and equipment.

WhatYoullBring

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 13 years of experiencerequiredin a professional kitchen environment.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Certificate or diploma in Pastry Arts Baking or Culinary Arts preferred.
• Luxury hotel pastry experience preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods andworkflexible schedules including weekends holidays andspecial events.

Licenses or Certificates

• Food Handler Certificationrequired.
