Registered Nurse - Cath Holding

Overview Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Holding area at Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full‑time, day shift position. $15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates. Work Shift Monday – Friday: Three 12‑hour shifts per week. Some flexibility to work 6 am‑6:30 pm or 7:30 am‑8 pm. Staff is expected to stay until the last patient leaves, so shifts may run longer than scheduled. No call; no holidays. Responsibilities The RN is responsible for providing competent nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process. The RN implements the standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, care coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation) and standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice and nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health).
