The posted compensation range of $32.62 - $40.76/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a crucial role in preparing and distributing all medication orders (excluding I.V. Chemotherapy admixtures) according to hospital policies, standard practices of the profession and State and Federal laws and regulations.
Every day, you will utilize your knowledge and experience to precisely fill medication orders and accurately maintain records. You will work tactfully and effectively with team members, the patient and their family, and the public.
To be successful in this role, you will pay strong attention to detail and follow both oral and written directions.
Job Requirements:
- Six (6) months of previous hospital pharmacy experience
- High School graduate
- Registered State Board of Pharmacy Technician (CT PHRMTEC)
- Competency certification of I.V admixture preparation and compounding is required of the Pharmacy Tech II upon hire or within thirty (30) days of hire date.
