Are you ready to enrich the lives around you? As the Activities Director you will create joyful experiences with all members of our community. At Country Meadows/Ecumenical you will put your creativity to use in this role by designing activities that engage, support and uplift our residents. This includes physical activities but also mental stimulus to enrich wellness benefits. This role plays a crucial part in our overall growth and wellness throughout the campus and our community at large.

Full time 9am-5pm, includes every 6th weekend, every 6th holiday, and one 12pm-8pm shift per month

Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Organizer of activities that promote a feeling of independence, fulfillment and purpose.
• Directs Activities Associates in their efforts to facilitate a well-balanced calendar of programs and events that are appealing to the interests of our residents.
• Works with campus leadership to help achieve goals and launch new initiatives.
• Act as a role model leading a team of co-workers to take a proactive approach in the daily operations of dynamic living and promoting wellness practices.

Activities Director Requirements:

• Prior experience in group socialization, fitness, wellness or recreation programs required.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Activity Director or Fitness/Wellness certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local community and regional resources.
• Skills in training, directing and evaluating team and program performance.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
