We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.Product ManagerLocation: Milwaukee, WI (2 to 3 days a week in office)Position Summary:The Product Manager will work with the Director of Marketing to develop the business and product strategy for existing and new products, ensure alignment across the product portfolio and collaborate on the necessary deliverables to support commercial and sales team’s success. Manage the strategic and tactical product lifecycle management, including lifecycle strategy, insights, and business plans of multiple products. Responsible for business planning and support revenue forecasting with forecasts on new product introductions. Develop the go-to-market strategies and support marketing communications initiatives for the products/services for which they are responsible.Essential Functions:Work with required teams to execute new product launch projects from initial concept and business case development through design, build, test, and launchSpecify market requirements and opportunities for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospectsDefine and communicate product strategy based on market research, competitive analysis, technology roadmaps, and vendor interactionDevelop and manage product lifecycle short and long-term strategy, including launch, maintenance, enhancements, partnerships, and end of lifeSupport ongoing refinement and development of the business market maps and product roadmapsIdentify and evaluate market size and target customers for each stage of the product lifeDevelop, analyze & recommend launch, maintenance and postmortem pricing structuresAnalyze financial results and take appropriate actions to ensure operational excellence and achieving annual goals. Develop and execute to key financial and business targets/metricsDevelop comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches and support existing product lines. Partner with Marketing Manager to create product positioning and channel strategies for existing and new productsProvide strategy, direction and goals for sales and marketing communication efforts. Partner with marketing resources to deliver all necessary product collateral, including sell sheets, spec sheets, and various selling toolsProvide content and direction for training. Co-/Lead development and execution of trainingEnhance brand strategies that align with and enhance vision and positioning int the market, while allowing for cross-selling opportunities to drive commercial growthLeverage project management skills and tools to keep projects and initiatives on track and well communicatedPosition Qualifications:Experience in a consumer or industrial product company preferred (not software only).Proven track record of developing, positioning, and launching new products. Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors, regardless of reporting relationships.Solid business, marketing, analytical and financial skills.Entrepreneurial, self-driven, self-organized, and passionate.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skillsAbility to think quickly and make sound decisions based on facts and prior experiences.Proven project management and analytical skills, including Stage Gate process experience.Competencies:Delivering Results - Understands and tenaciously works at meeting or exceeding goals.Initiating Action - Takes prompt action to accomplish work goals; takes action to achieve results beyond what is required; proactive.Driving Execution - Translates strategic priorities into operational reality, aligning communication, resources, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systemsInnovate the Business - Develops and enables pipeline of new products/services that sustain the business for the long-term and improve competitive advantage.Customer Focus - Ensures that the customer's perspective is a driving force behind strategic priorities, business decisions, organizational processes, and individual activities.Seizing Market Opportunities - Uses understanding of key market drivers to create and seize business opportunities, expand into new markets, and launch innovative products.Collaborating - Works cooperatively with others to help the team achieve its goals.Skills and Abilities:Education – Degree in Marketing, Business, Product Development, or related fieldExperience – 5+ years in product management, product development, sales and/or marketing.Computer Skills – Ideal candidate will be proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
