Cost Segregation- Experienced Associate

Job Overview Baker Tilly , one of the fastest growing CPA advisory firms in the nation, has a career opportunity for a Cost Seg, Associate Tax in Northern California to join our growing Federal Credits & Incentives practice. The Tangible Asset Incentive Services team helps clients manage tangible assets in a way that enhances their return. These business advisors specialize in solutions that span cost segregation studies, energy credits and incentives, fixed asset consulting and tangible property regulations. Responsibilities Conduct/attend site visits Help with project planning Analyze information and learn to identify technical issues Help complete estimates of real and personal property building components Assist in producing high‑quality client deliverables Assist with development and maintenance of client service templates Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality Provide timely, high‑quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in construction management, engineering, accounting or related field preferred Pursuing CPA, EA, MAI, ASA, CMI, CCSP or PE designation preferred If not certified, must meet educational requirements to obtain license upon hire in state of employment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis upon hire Minimum of 1 year of related experience required Experience preparing estimates of real and personal property building components preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi‑task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% Compensation Bay Area range: pay rate range is $77,240 to $119,820.
