Love your job.The Product Marketing Engineer (PME) is responsible for developing business plans, marketing strategy and forecasts for assigned product lines. The PME maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. In this role, the PME identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.This role sits in TI's Low Power Radar - automotive business line, focused on fast-growing automotive applications: in-cabin monitoring, kick-to-open sensing, parking assist, blind spot detection, and door obstacle detection. Product Marketing Engineers own customer opportunities end-to-end - from demand creation and initial exploration through device evaluation, design-in, and revenue management - developing product positioning, gathering customer feedback, and driving cross-functional action across technical, sales, and operations teams to close gaps and grow the business.Responsibilities include:Drive DINs to DWINs to grow NR while maintaining profitabilityMaintain close relationships with top tier customers and the respective account managers to understand opportunitiesDevelop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customersPlan, manage and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (Pre RTM, at RTM and post RTM)Review competitive landscape and building strategies to address gapsInterface with customers and TI field sales/applications to support DINsFollow up weekly and monthly on opportunities; from price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity, etc.Collaborate and communicate the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch etc.Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or relevant engineering field 2 years of relevant engineering experiencePreferred qualifications:Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryUnderstanding of embedded systemsAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
