Project Development Manager

The position is based in California and offers the opportunity to lead utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from early-stage development through Ready-to-Build (RTB) . Key responsibilities include: Managing utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from site control to RTB Overseeing permitting, environmental studies, engineering, and technical workstreams Coordinating consultants and external stakeholders Building relationships with utilities, landowners, and regulatory agencies Managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, and development risks The ideal candidate will have: Utility-scale Solar and/or BESS development experience in the U.S. Experience working within ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and/or ISO-NE Strong knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
