Seasonal Office Assistant

Creative Displays, Inc. is a commercial holiday lighting and decor company serving customers nationwide. We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Seasonal Office Assistant to support our office, sales, and operations teams during our busiest season. This is a full-time seasonal position based in our Lenexa office. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with customers, able to manage multiple priorities, and willing to help wherever needed to keep orders and office operations moving efficiently. Responsibilities Process ecommerce, phone and walk in customer orders Create and process customer invoices Enter and maintain customer, order, payment and account information in QuickBooks Assist with accounts receivable and customer payment follow up Apply and record customer payments Answer incoming calls and assist customers with routine questions Greet customers and visitors Provide administrative support to the sales team Prepare documents and maintain order related paperwork Assist with shipping related administrative activities Coordinate with sales, warehouse and office team members to help ensure orders are processed accurately Perform additional office and customer service tasks as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and follow through Dependable and punctual Professional phone and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication Comfortable working with invoices, payments and customer account information Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to learn new software and office procedures Previous office, administrative or customer service experience preferred QuickBooks, bookkeeping, invoicing or accounts receivable experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person on our processes.
