Minimum experience: 1.5 years general nursing experience 1 year specific to PCU

Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience

BLS, ACLS NIHSS required

Patient Types:This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg please ensure traveler understandsDirect admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etcMI, NSTEMI STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacersBackup Stroke unit and Medical OverflowStep down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertionPatient Ratios:RN: 1:4 most of the time, can be 1:3 (acuity dependent)
