Senior Interior Designer

Senior Interior Designer / Space Planner – Martinsburg, WV Seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Space Planner to support facilities planning and interior space management activities at a federal healthcare facility in Martinsburg, West Virginia . The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting interior design, space planning, furniture coordination, and technical project coordination within complex institutional, healthcare, or federal environments. Responsibilities include: Support interior design and space planning activities within an active healthcare environment Coordinate with facility personnel and end users to identify functional and space requirements Conduct user interviews and assist with evaluating functional adjacencies Evaluate existing spaces for compatibility with organizational and operational needs Develop recommendations for new or modified space requirements Support furniture planning, selection, coordination, procurement, and installation activities Maintain project documentation, drawings, furniture plans, and related records Coordinate with architects, engineers, facilities personnel, vendors, and other project stakeholders Utilize CADD and other applicable software to support space planning and project documentation Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university Minimum 10 years of relevant interior design, space planning, or technical project coordination experience Proficiency with CADD Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with document control and project documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with facility personnel, end users, and multidisciplinary project teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting healthcare facilities Experience with federal or VA facilities Experience with furniture planning, procurement, and installation Familiarity with healthcare space planning standards and requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
