Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care RN – Travel Assignment

Requirements:

• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 3 x 12-hour shifts

Unit Details:

• 48-bed cardiac-focused stepdown/progressive care unit
• Includes:
  • 4 pulmonary care beds
  • 10 cardiac surgery beds (traveler not required to take)

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years Cardiac Telemetry experience
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Experience in cardiac stepdown/progressive care preferred
• Cerner experience required

Common IV Drips:

• Heparin
• Milrinone
• Lasix
• Bumex

Frequent Diagnoses:

• CHF
• NSTEMI
• Arrhythmias
• Vascular surgery patients

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current RN license in state/district – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
• BSN – Highly desired
