Schedule: Full time Shift: Night Location Address: 400 Celebration Pl, Celebration, Florida 34747 Job Description Job Description: Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week. Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am with weekend rotation. Primary Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Education Associate's of Nursing (Required) Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred) Work Experience 1+ year in acute care hospital setting (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) – Required Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required Physical Requirements Physical requirements information available via provided link. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Organizational and multi-tasking skills Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Team player within a unit Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills EKG knowledge (based on patient; refer to document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements) Proficiency in English (read, speak, write) Basic computer skills – navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs Ability to use abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans based on outcomes Other Information Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on unit or state.
