Radiation Therapist I - Radiation Oncology- Huntersville- PRN

Novant Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist I to join our Cancer Institute team. In this role, you will safely and accurately deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments to patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. You'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality cancer care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and treatment accuracy. Reviews treatment plans, patient information, and treatment parameters to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery. Operates radiation therapy equipment and verifies treatment setup and positioning. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: One to two years of applicable experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification), required. BLS, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Why Choose Novant Health?
