Warehouse Specialist

Overview IKE Smart City connects cities with people through its interactive kiosk platform, IKE, with vivid, life‑size touchscreen displays, providing an expanding suite of applications that help users explore the best a city has to offer. Your work as a Warehouse Specialist will allow tens of thousands of pedestrians to discover and navigate cities—finding food, shopping, events, and social services—while also sharing feedback and staying informed of important events. Location: Columbus, OH (Warehouse) What You Will Do Physically install and position interactive kiosks in the warehouse Load, configure, and test kiosk software applications, ensuring proper functionality Connect kiosks to the warehouse network (Wi‑Fi/LAN) and configure settings for seamless integration Perform system diagnostics, test interactive features, and ensure optimal performance Identify and resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues that arise during commissioning Maintain logs of installations, issues, and resolutions for future reference Follow warehouse safety protocols while handling electrical equipment and installations About You Tenacity to drive projects forward by creatively solving problems and engaging key personnel Self‑driven with a “can do” attitude; does not need to be told what to do Approaches obstacles as challenges to overcome and focuses on solutions rather than problems Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to keep the installation process running smoothly Communicates effectively with stakeholders to keep projects moving forward Flexible and versatile, thriving in a dynamic, fast‑paced "start‑up" environment 2‑ or 4‑year degree is positive but not required Minimum of 1‑year professional experience in a related field is preferred Ability to travel nationwide as projects demand Comfort and experience in trade work preferred Familiarity with basic hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, sockets, pliers, drills, etc. Preferred Experience Previous experience in warehouse technology installations Experience with touchscreen interfaces and user experience optimization Work Environment Warehouse setting with potential exposure to industrial noise and equipment Requires physical activity, including lifting and moving hardware May require flexible work hours to meet project deadlines Company Overview Orange Barrel Media (OBM) creates and operates iconic urban media displays that advertisers seek by name in top U.S. markets.
