Back of House Team Member Responsibilities

As a Back of House Team Member, you'll be an important part of creating the excellent food and remarkable experience our guests know and love. You will:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and serve food safely, quickly, and accurately according to Chick-fil-A standards
• Learn and become confident in multiple kitchen stations, including waffle fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food preparation
• Work with urgency while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy
• Help ensure every guest receives fresh, delicious food prepared with care
• Stock and organize kitchen inventory as needed to keep the team ready to serve
• Maintain a kitchen that is clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next rush
• Support and encourage your fellow Team Members
• Live out the vision and values of our restaurant
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Team Members and Restaurant Leaders
• Bring a team-first attitude and jump in wherever help is needed
• Remain adaptable, dependable, and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and promptly communicate maintenance or safety concerns to Leadership
• Stay current on new Chick-fil-A products, procedures, and operational standards
• Continue developing your skills through training, coaching, and hands-on experience
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
• Follow Chick-fil-A standards, policies, food safety procedures, and dress code
• Complete other responsibilities as needed to help the team serve with excellence
