Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Neuro unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float to other units within the facility as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete non-billable orientation modules electronically, averaging 4–5 hours, during the orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted form; all other certifications will not meet compliance requirements
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both or non-completion results in automatic cancellation
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
