School Bus Driver

Education, Training, and Experience: Completion of twelfth grade or equivalent; Successful completion of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) examination for school bus drivers; One year of experience in the operation of a bus (Preferred); Must maintain knowledge of safe operation by attendance at assigned in-service training sessions/seminars.

License Required: Valid California Driver's License CA Commercial Drivers' License Class A or B with PS Endorsement School Bus Certificate with 1 and 6 only restrictions Current medical card and DL-51 Current First Aid Print out from DMV K4 TO-1 Card Random drug pull as required by CHP.

Comments and Other Information: Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier; Pre-employment drug testing (DOT); Random drug test. Please note that this position has a minimum of 4 hours, with the potential for additional hours depending on the assigned route.
