We are currently seeking Recruiting Coordinators to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a remote opportunity based out of our Tampa, Florida office. The position will primarily work remotely; however, employees are required to attend an initial 3-day, in-person training at our Tampa, Florida office and must be available to travel as needed to support recruiting and hiring activities. As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you will help identify, hire, and onboard the workforce needed to support disaster recovery operations. Your work directly contributes to our ability to quickly mobilize qualified personnel and support communities when they need assistance most. Position Summary:
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting high-volume and disaster-response staffing efforts. This position is responsible for communicating with prospective candidates, conducting candidate prescreens, supporting hiring and onboarding activities, maintaining accurate candidate records, and assisting with in-person hiring events.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to quickly shift priorities based on project and disaster-response needs. Essential Job Functions: The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to prospective candidates and screen candidates for minimum qualifications using established scripts and screening criteria.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, text messages, and candidate inquiries related to current and future staffing opportunities.
• Communicate job requirements, schedules, project expectations, and next steps clearly and accurately to candidates.
• Create and maintain candidate applications and records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Accurately enter and update candidate and new-hire information within recruiting trackers and project-specific systems.
• Support candidate hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring required information and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
• Schedule new hires for required training, orientation, onboarding, and other pre-employment activities.
• Track candidate progress throughout the recruiting and onboarding process and follow up as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized recruiting records while handling a high volume of candidate activity.
• Assist with in-person recruiting and hiring events as needed.
• Travel to hiring events and project locations, sometimes with limited advance notice.
• Assist with candidate outreach activities during hiring events, which may include distributing or posting recruiting flyers in designated areas.
• Support in-person employment verification and I-9 processing when required.
• Perform additional recruiting and Talent Acquisition duties as assigned based on project and operational needs. Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, call center operations, customer service, sales, staffing, or another high-volume candidate/customer-facing environment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable conducting a high volume of telephone conversations throughout the workday.
• Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
• Ability to learn new technology, software platforms, and project-specific systems quickly.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously while communicating with candidates by phone.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and adjust quickly as recruiting needs change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited supervision when necessary.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be available to work extended schedules during active recruiting operations, including up to 10-12 hours per day and 6 days per week.
• Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, based on operational needs.
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed to support in-person hiring events, candidate processing, and I-9 verification.
• Must be able to travel on short notice when required by project needs. Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience supporting high-volume recruiting or staffing operations.
• Previous experience supporting disaster response, emergency staffing, temporary staffing, or other rapidly changing workforce environments.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Experience with software or platforms such as Smartsheet, TextUs, and HireRight. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work extended schedules of approximately 10-12 hours per day and up to 6 days per week during periods of increased recruiting activity.
• Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods while conducting telephone and computer-based recruiting activities.

• Employees must maintain a remote work environment that allows them to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates throughout scheduled working hours.
• Work is performed in a fast-paced recruiting environment where priorities and staffing needs may change quickly based on disaster-response and project requirements.
• During in-person hiring events, employees may be required to stand and work for extended periods of approximately 10-12 hours per day.
• Hiring-event responsibilities may require walking outdoors and working in varying weather conditions while conducting outreach or distributing recruiting materials.
• Travel may involve working from temporary offices, hiring-event locations, hotels, project sites, or other designated work locations. Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
• This position requires travel as needed to support in-person hiring events, recruiting activities, candidate processing, and I-9 verification.
• Typical travel assignments may last approximately 2-5 days, although duration may vary depending on operational needs. Employees must maintain flexibility and be willing to travel with limited advance notice.
• Approved business travel expenses are arranged and/or covered in accordance with Tetra Tech policies. Eligible employees may also receive applicable per diem allowances while traveling. Additional Information:
