This position requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of those you serve.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.Safe use of assistive devices including gait belts, transfer boards, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer liftsProvide medication administration as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.Perform patient monitoring, including taking vital signs and reporting any significant changes to healthcare professionals.Offer direct support to clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that living spaces are tidy and free from hazards.Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being.Assist clients with dementia care by employing specialized techniques to ensure their comfort and safety.Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.SkillsProficiency in First Aid techniques and emergency response protocols.Experience in home community care settings is preferred.Strong ability to perform patient monitoring effectively.Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential.Familiarity with providing support for individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.Capability to assist with heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.Requirements:Previous caregiver experience preferred (family or professional)CNA, HHA, or relevant certification a plusValid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)Clear background checkCompassionate, patient, and dependableAbility to lift 25+ lbs and perform physical tasksJoin our team of dedicated Caregivers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve!Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offPaid trainingSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftMorning shiftNight shiftWeekends as neededWork Location: In person
