Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurses are responsible for providing high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. The role is based in Farmington, Connecticut, and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in PACU and preoperative/postoperative care.

Job Details:

• Location: Farmington, Connecticut
• Schedule: 10 hours per day, days or rotating shifts, with varied start times, covering holidays, weekends, and on-call
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; minimum 2 years of PACU and preoperative/postoperative experience; must obtain Connecticut RN license before start date; Covid and Flu vaccines (medical or religious declinations allowed)
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Client may float or reassign personnel within 30 miles of the original assigned facility, based on clinical competence
• Additional Information: During the assignment, the nurse is considered part of the unit and may be required to work additional hours as needed; mandatory overtime may be required as part of the clinical team
