Location: Jacksonville, FL (Mandarin area)

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the board-certified psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health care to our adult patient population (18 years and above). This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values clinical autonomy while benefiting from the mentorship and direct collaboration of an experienced supervising physician.

Specialized Procedural Training:

Our clinic offers advanced, interventional psychiatric treatments. We will provide full training and certification for the successful candidate to administer Ketamine Infusion Therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) .

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new patients.
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care for established patients.
• Administer and monitor specialized treatments, including Ketamine Infusion Therapy and TMS (training provided).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician, consulting on complex cases as needed.
• Prescribe controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• • For PAs: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • For NPs: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Licensure/Certification:
• • Active, unencumbered professional license in the state of Florida (PA-C or APRN/PMHNP).
  • Current national certification (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC for PMHNPs).
  • Active DEA registration (or eligible to obtain).
• Experience: [1-2+ years of experience in psychiatry/behavioral health strongly preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong interest in psychiatry will be considered.]
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary / Rate: $70,000 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience for full time position. We welcome strong candidates seeking part-time options or independent contractor status on an hourly rate.
• Bonus: Incentive bonuses will be applicable after 6 months to 1 year of employment.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekend or on-call duties. However, may have to occasionally take a call from a patient after hours.
