Our Downstream Chemical Team uses technology consisting of chemistry, knowledge expertise, Intellectual Property, correct application methods and monitoring to improve the water and process treatment applications at refinery and industrial plants while providing value to our clients.

As an Account Representative, you will provide a vital service by implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting and evaluating chemical treatment programs. You will take ownership of a key customer account to ensure they have the services and products needed to operate safely and efficiently. You will become a trusted advisor to customers as you develop an understanding of our customer's needs and operations.

Fueling your passion

As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operation and performance of refinery process treatment programs to ensure exceptional service and value for customers.
• Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional partners to drive collaboration and success.
• Providing account management to understand customer needs, requirements and potential win-win sales opportunities.
• Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support troubleshooting efforts, service reporting, KPI reviews, customer meetings, and presentations.
• Delivering field support, laboratory analysis, and technical expertise to assist customers with operational challenges, projects, turnarounds, shutdowns, and routine activities.
• Monitoring and managing chemical inventory levels and coordinating product deliveries at customer location.
• Supporting the safe loading and unloading of chemical tank trailers and totes as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Have Bachelor's Degree Preferred will take a High School Diploma.
• Have 3 plus years' experience with refinery or industrial experience
• Have Refinery or industrial operation experience with, process chemical additives, water treatment, finished fuels additives, refinery sales, process engineering, or engineering service experience
• Have Solid understanding and knowledge of refinery process operation and utilities units
• Have Understanding of industrial chemical treatment programs and sales process
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Have experience working in a laboratory setting
• Have comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
• Display excellent verbal and written communications skills
