Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - East Region.

References must be from the 2 most recent places of employment.

Required Skills/Experience: 2-10 years’ experience.

Unit Details: Uses Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes. Nurse to patient ratios: 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible. Hours may vary. Shift preference is not guaranteed. Holiday coverage required.

Floating Requirements: May float to Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
