We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to become part of the vibrant Emergency Department at our Sacramento Medical Center (Mather, CA). Position Overview

As an Emergency Medicine Physician with our organization, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting immediate assessments, stabilization, and management of high-acuity adult patients, addressing cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, trauma-related, and complex medical emergencies.

• Executing rapid diagnostics and interventions utilizing bedside ultrasound, EKG interpretation, point-of-care testing, advanced airway techniques, and coordinating urgent imaging.

• Collaborating with inpatient teams and specialty services to determine safe patient dispositions, including admission, transfer, or discharge.

• Operating within a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, supported by nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, social work, and integrated behavioral health services.

• Maintaining thorough documentation in the electronic health record system and engaging in FPPE/OPPE, credentialing, quality improvement, peer review, and process enhancement initiatives within the ED.

• Fostering a culture focused on safety, teamwork, Veteran-centered care, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
