Interventional Radiology Technologist - Travel Job

Join a skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Sun City West, AZ. Perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate and perform quality assurance on imaging equipment, and monitor patients during procedures. Provide patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to radiation safety and departmental protocols. Demonstrate professional behavior and contribute to efficient department workflow and positive patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• State licensure as required by Arizona regulatory agency.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or equivalent clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform invasive/interventional radiographic procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals or approved medications where applicable.
• Ability to perform equipment quality control, troubleshoot imaging systems, and adhere to radiation safety policies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional related education or specialty certifications preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1730.
