Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must be available to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

This position is in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care Unit with a total of 37 beds. Candidates must be flexible to accommodate the facility's scheduling needs, including the possibility of floating to other units and working charge if required. Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs in a telemetry setting.
• Provide care to patients undergoing treatment in the Med/Tele Unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Document patient information and care using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing is required, with a preference for 2 years.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
