Inside Sales Representative
Location: Chatsworth Pay Rate: $27 - $28/hr. Duration: 6 - 9 months Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing product information, support, and solutions
- Manage customer order fulfillment, including:
- Quotations
- Order review & entry
- Expediting
- Customer service support
- Develop negotiation strategies and support new business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction
- Provide backup support across the sales team when needed
- Analyze data using Excel (XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to inform decisions and improve processes
- Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain compliance with all company safety and work policies
Qualifications
- 23 years of sales experience with aerospace industry exposure (required)
- Strong background in:
- Inventory management
- Account management (purchasing, sales, and customer service combined)
- Supply chain operations
- Experience in fasteners or aerospace components highly preferred
- Proven success in a sales environment where new prospecting accounts for 50%+ of pipeline
- Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis capability
- Strong consultative sales approach and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage change effectively
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Education
- Associate's Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations / Logistics
- Business, Engineering, Math, Economics, or related field
