Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for RN Supervisor for overnight shift part time

The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the care and services provided within the Briarwood Healthcare Center in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Nurse Supervisor serves as a mentor and role model responsible for demonstrating understanding, patience, tact, and courtesy in dealing with associates, residents, families and visitors. Maintains knowledge of current long-term care regulations and programs in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates leadership and problem solving skills with a commitment to the excellence of Encore Village.

• Participates in the organization's strategic planning efforts and operational improvement initiatives to drive innovation and quality of the Unit.

• Responsible for the implementation of Service Lines, such as Pulmonary Rehab and Cardiac Care to enhance quality of care, reduce hospital readmissions, increase physician and hospital referrals and ultimately admissions to Briarwood.

• Maintains knowledge of current long-term care regulations and programs in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.

• Ensures staff compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory programs in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Current RN Licensure with the State of Illinois

• Graduated from accredited nurse program

• Current CPR Card

• Minimum one year Long Term Care experience

• Clinical experience in the care of residents who reside in long term care
