Collaborating closely, the team maintains infrastructure performance, optimizes system functionality, and supports continuous improvement efforts in a structured, professional environment, contributing to the seamless operation of essential facility systems.What you'll do...Inspecting and examining heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning, chillers, air compressors, heat exchangers, medium and low voltage switch gear, and all auxiliary equipment to locate defects in operations Managing water treatment chemicals for cooling towers, chillers, or other critical facilities systems Managing electrical distribution and controls including UPS systems, PDU’s, generators, switchgear Monitoring and updating the Energy Management Controls System and BMS systems Managing or performing preventive maintenance, installations, inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of rotating equipment (pumps, motors, associated parts and systems) What you'll bring:8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas (or a combination): Medium-voltage electrical distribution and controls, including emergency power.Mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, utility plant operations).Building management and automation controls.Vendor and contract managementExperience with systems engineering projects and agile collaboration.Strong knowledge of utility plant systems and ability to lead work on electrical and mechanical components.Hands-on experience supervising vendors and contractors.Proficiency in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and operational safety standards.Strong computer literacy and grasp of Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA codes, and industry compliance frameworks.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
