Senior Front End Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior Front End Developer (Marketing) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced front-end solutions within the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. This fully remote role focuses on enhancing public-facing digital experiences by creating responsive, accessible, secure, and scalable web applications. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise digital initiatives and provide technical leadership in front-end best practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom templates, components, and themeable blocks within the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform.
Develop responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Webpack, and related front-end technologies.
Analyze, troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize existing applications for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, content authors, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and release management using Azure DevOps.
Implement CI/CD best practices and support automated testing.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, accessibility (WCAG), security, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client staff.
Provide technical leadership and front-end development best practices.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Minimum five (5) years of professional front-end development experience.
Experience with Optimizely/Episerver Digital Experience Platform.
Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps.
Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor), SQL Server, Continuous Integration, and automated testing.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience with Webpack and front-end build tools.
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and best practices.
Experience in Agile development environments and sprint methodologies.

Adherence to enterprise coding standards, security policies, and accessibility guidelines.

Scheduling:

Work schedule aligned with Agile sprint cycles and team collaboration needs.
Participation in sprint ceremonies and release management activities as required.
