Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Shifts available in 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour increments

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Assume responsibility for patient care in the PACU or Pre-Op setting, depending on role assignment
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks are delegated
• Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in PACU or Pre-Op nursing
• Ability to fulfill on-call rotation requirements, including overnight and weekend call shifts
• Must reside at least 250 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a non-trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with OR call rotation protocols and expectations
• Ability to adapt to varied shift lengths in a surgical services setting
