As a Teller, you’ll be on the front lines of that mission—greeting customers with a smile, processing their transactions, and helping them feel at home with us. What You’ll Do: As a Teller, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our branch—serving customers with accuracy, professionalism, and warmth. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and processing a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing Accurately balancing your cash drawer daily and maintaining transaction accuracy Assisting customers with account questions and referring them to appropriate staff for additional support when needed Supporting operational tasks such as ATM and coin machine maintenance, night deposit bag processing, and safe deposit access Upholding all bank policies, procedures, and compliance standards—including Bank Secrecy Act and security requirements Participating in team collaboration to ensure smooth branch operations and a positive customer experience Staying informed about bank products, services, and technology platforms (training provided) What You Bring: A high school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment A friendly, professional attitude and excellent communication skills Proficiency navigating computer systems and willingness to learn new technologies quickly Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while staying organized and detail-oriented Commitment to following procedures and maintaining confidentiality Willingness to work Saturdays as part of your regular schedule A team-oriented mindset and genuine interest in serving the local community with integrity and care What Sets Walpole Co-operative Bank Apart: We offer a supportive, team-oriented culture where your contributions matter—and we back that up with benefits like: Weekly pay - $22.32 - $25.43 per hour based on experience 80% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance – plus access to FSA and HRA programs to help cover your out-of-pocket costs To help with healthcare costs, the Bank contributes the first 50% of your annual deductible on the medical plan Exceptional retirement benefits – for every $1 you contribute to your 401(k), the Bank contributes $2 (up to plan limits) plus we offer a fully paid pension plan Generous paid time off Up to $7,000 annually in tuition reimbursement to support your career goals 100% paid life insurance and more About Us: Walpole Co-operative Bank is proud to serve our local community with care and integrity.
