Qualifications:

• Proven fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working as a Paraprofessional, particularly in a school setting
• Ability to provide clear and accurate ASL interpretation
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers and supporting a range of learning needs
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in supporting students’ educational goals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver ASL services to students, ensuring full curriculum access
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to support diverse learning styles
• Facilitate communication among students, teachers, and peers
• Adapt communication methods to meet individual student requirements
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
