Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Posted: 19-May-26 • Location: Florence, Alabama • Type: Full-time Responsibilities The Division of Athletics at North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive program for the training of student‑athletes to maximize their athletic performance and prevent injury; collaborating with coaches and athletic trainers to organize and design strength, power, speed, agility, and flexibility programs for student‑athletes; maintaining safety, hygiene, and efficiency of the weight facility; supervising individual and team workouts; displaying a positive attitude, demonstrating enthusiasm, providing positive energy, and communicating effectively with student‑athletes, coaches, and staff. Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree; a minimum of three years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach, including technique instruction and program design; three or more years of collegiate experience (preferred); familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations (preferred); and experience supervising staff (preferred). A current, valid driver’s license in good standing is required. Certification through a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification program, first aid, CPR, and AED certification renewed annually are required.
