Senior Electrical EngineerWatchfire Signs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electronics for LED displays, scoreboards, and related systems. This role is a key technical contributor responsible for delivering robust, manufacturable hardware solutions from concept through production.You will work across hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain teams while driving high-impact product development.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic systems including digital, firmware, and power circuitsOwn schematic development, component selection, and PCB design reviewsLead hardware development from concept through validation and production releaseTroubleshoot complex system and board-level issues; drive root cause analysisCollaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams on product developmentSupport new product introduction (NPI), pilot builds, and production rampWork with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve cost, quality, and yieldEvaluate and implement component changes related to supply chain or obsolescenceCreate and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, BOMs, test plans)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field7+ years of hardware design experience in a product development environmentStrong background in digital designAbility to write embedded firmware for microcontrollers and FPGAsExperience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred)Hands-on experience with lab equipment and hardware debuggingProven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver resultsStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred ExperienceLED display systems, outdoor electronics, or high-reliability productsEmbedded systems and hardware/firmware integrationExperience working with global supply chainsBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionCompany Paid Life/ADDVoluntary Life/ADDDependent Life/ADD401k with Employer MatchVacationPersonal Time*Watchfire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
