What You'll Do

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care in a hospital setting.
  • Conduct clinics, consults, and follow-up visits for oncology patients.
  • Manage chemotherapy and related treatments at the attached treatment center.
  • Respond to urgent calls via phone only, with no onsite call back after hours on weekdays; weekend calls are 24-hour.
  • Participate in quality assurance, documentation, and compliance with privileging requirements.
  • Maintain detailed case logs and ensure all provider requirements are met for privileges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Offer clinical guidance and support for residents as part of educational activities.

What You Need Required:

  • Active California medical license, DEA, BLS certification
  • BC or BE in Hematology and Oncology (or within 3-5 years of residency)
  • Minimum 2 years inpatient case logs in the specialty
  • Ability to respond promptly to calls and manage inpatient cases

Preferred:

  • Experience with outpatient oncology clinics and chemotherapy administration
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and patient safety
