C and C Pasta Inc., the food-service operator at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, is hiring reliable and friendly part-time cafeteria cashiers for the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–1:30 PM
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, based on the school calendar
Pay: $18.00 per hour

The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a busy school cafeteria. This position follows the school calendar, with no nights and school holidays and breaks off.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the cashier station and POS system during lunch service
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff
• Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately
• Count and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift
• Stock snacks, beverages, and cashier supplies as needed
• Wipe tables and help maintain a clean and orderly cafeteria
• Assist the cafeteria team with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and available Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
• Comfortable working during a fast-paced lunch period
• Friendly and professional when working with students, staff, and coworkers
• Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system
• Strong attention to accuracy, cleanliness, and organization
• Able to stand for most of the four-hour shift
• Cashier or food-service experience is helpful, but not required
• Training will be provided to the right candidate
• Employment may be subject to school approval and any required background screening
