Job Summary:
The emergency room registered nurse (RN) position is in Augusta, Georgia, at a newly established fast emergency services department (FSED). This role involves providing high-quality patient care, assisting with trauma and emergency procedures, and utilizing advanced equipment such as bipap and ventilators. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Augusta, Georgia
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 48 hours per week, work every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Valid emergency room RN license, at least 2 years of relevant experience, Certifications including TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
• Additional Information: New facility built from the ground up with all new equipment. Opportunity to develop skills with bipap and ventilator management, as well as point-of-care labs.
• Responsibilities include managing common ED chief complaints, trauma care, and assisting with procedures such as IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, and NG tube insertion. The RN will also support providers in diverse emergency procedures and patient stabilization.
• Certifications must be included in the submission packet.
