ROP: $10.00/hr. plus (eligible for raise after 90 day probation period)

 

Location: 1133 Barranca Drive., El Paso, TX 79935

 

Full Time:  Full time, Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., Overtime (expected)

 

SUMMARY: Responsible for hands-on production work and related tasks. The tasks are labor-intensive in which we pick up and package tortillas by hand, prepare dough balls, placing tortillas on the press, and other activities related to the industry.

 

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following (not intended to be all inclusive): 

 

Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces prior to the start of shift.

Mix dough and masa, when assigned.

 

Portion out dough balls on the tortilla press, when assigned.

 

Count tortillas off the line and package them, when assigned.

 

Keep area clean. Sanitize all food contact surfaces as needed throughout the day.

 

Follow Company processes and procedures for manufacturing and food safety.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Person must show basic knowledge of general food safety principals, demonstrate basic proficiency in prep tasks and hold a valid Food Handlers Permit.
