Lead Facility Maintenance Technician

Lead teams across modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities Combination of field leadership, technical oversight, and operational management High‑impact role supporting fast‑paced multi‑site operations Opportunity to mentor technicians and shape facility performance Direct involvement in budgeting, SLA performance, and process improvements Clear path toward Facilities Management and Regional Operations leadership What you’ll do Team Leadership & Operations Lead and oversee a team of Facility Technicians across multiple sites Create and manage technician schedules to ensure proper coverage across shifts and facilities Manage work order priorities and allocate resources based on operational needs Conduct quarterly performance reviews, goal‑setting, coaching, and mentorship Support technician development through hands‑on training and advanced troubleshooting guidance Facilities Maintenance Oversight Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, including: HVAC systems Plumbing systems Electrical systems General facility repairs Vendor and contractor coordination Support technicians with complex troubleshooting and high‑priority repair escalation Financial & Administrative Management Approve and reconcile technician timecards and overtime Validate expense reports and ensure policy compliance Manage consumables, parts inventory, and repair‑related spending Support budget forecasting and cost optimization initiatives Service & Performance Management Drive SLA compliance by monitoring response and resolution times Track and report key operational performance metrics Partner with Operations leadership to improve facility uptime and efficiency Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across sites Vendor & Compliance Oversight Coordinate and validate third‑party contractor reports and repair documentation Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies Support commissioning activities and evolving maintenance processes What your week looks like 50% field support and advanced troubleshooting 20% team leadership and operational coordination 10% preventative maintenance oversight and inspections10% reporting, scheduling, and administrative management What we’re looking for Required EPA Certification 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Experience managing maintenance priorities across multiple sites Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Commercial facilities or restaurant/hospitality maintenance experience Experience managing vendors and third‑party contractors HVAC/R certification or trade school background Familiarity with CMMS/work order management systems Experience tracking SLAs, KPI, procuring parts and equipment Why join us Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast. The base starting rate for this role is $31.00 – $42.00/hr + Overtime. Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
