Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Head of Product for a full-time position in the USA. Our client is a technology company developing AI-powered solutions for the legal industry. Its platform helps legal professionals capture, process, and manage testimony and related case information more efficiently. The company focuses on using artificial intelligence to modernize traditional legal workflows, reduce reliance on manual processes, and make legal services more accessible and cost-effective. As a Head of Product you will lead product strategy and execution as the company's most senior product leader. This is a focused, hands-on product role: you'll translate the founder's vision into an actionable roadmap, direct and coordinate closely with the dev team to ship it and represent product directly to clients and the market. You'll be the person in the room who understands both the legal workflows our users live in and where AI-driven product capability is heading, and you'll balance the two. As with any early-stage company, priorities shift fast: this role calls for a flexible, nimble mindset and someone who can comfortably juggle multiple threads at once. You'll report directly to the CEO/Co-Founder and sit on the leadership team. Requirements 7+ years in product management, with several years in a senior or Head of Product role at an early- or growth-stage startup. Comfortable being client-facing — confident running discovery and demo conversations, not just synthesizing notes from them. Working technical fluency; can engage with engineering on architecture and technical trade-offs without being the one writing the code. Experience with vendor search, negotiation, and contracting. Familiarity with pricing strategy and competitive analysis in a B2B SaaS context. Strong point of view on applied AI — where it creates real product value versus hype — balanced with genuine discipline around user needs. Interest in or experience with legal, notary, or compliance-adjacent workflows is a strong plus. Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill ambiguity into a clear plan for both the team and the CEO. Flexible and nimble mindset suited to an early-stage company — comfortable with shifting priorities and limited resources. Strong multitasker; can move between strategic roadmap work and day-to-day tactical execution without losing momentum. Responsibilities Map the founder's vision to a clear, actionable product roadmap and keep it current as priorities shift. Lead and coordinate with the development team from discovery through shipping and iteration; unblock the team and prioritize work alongside engineering. Partner with the VP of Engineering to plan and prioritize the growing development team — additional engineering hires are planned for Q4/Q1. Get hands-on with technical challenges as they arise, using sufficient technical fluency to make sound trade-off decisions with engineering rather than simply handing off requirements. Research legal workflows (notary, legal ops, and adjacent processes) and translate them into product requirements and roadmap decisions. Join customer conversations, demos, and discovery calls to keep the product grounded in real-world usage. Own vendor relationships end-to-end: search, negotiation, and contracting for tools and partners the product depends on. Set and evolve pricing strategy in partnership with the CEO, informed by market data and customer willingness to pay. Track the competitive landscape and use it to sharpen positioning and roadmap bets. Bring strong AI acumen to the roadmap — evaluate where AI genuinely improves the product versus where it is a distraction, balancing user needs against where the market is heading. Define and track the metrics that matter (activation, retention, quality) and use them to drive prioritization. Represent the product in leadership conversations; report progress and trade-offs clearly to the CEO. We offer US and EU projects based on advanced technologies.
