Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

Youll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. Youll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.

Basic Job Requirements

1. Be 18 years or older
2. Understand and follow instructions in English
3. Lift up to 49 pounds
4. View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
5. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
6. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
7. Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
8. Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles

What Youll Do

1. Receive and prepare packages for delivery
2. Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
3. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
4. Receive truck deliveries of customer packages

Schedule Options

1. Shift Options. Early Morning and Overnight hours.
2. Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week).
3. Schedule Flexibility. Choose from a Fixed or Flexible Schedule.
4. Overtime Opportunities. Your shift could be extended or reduced by additional hours based on customer demand and will be communicated during your shift.

1. Safety. Your safety is our top priority. We provide protective gear and all teams share safety tips daily. Our state-of-the-art facilities are clean, well-organized, and designed with your safety in mind.
2. Equipment. Youll be operating and working around moving equipmentmobile cards, rolling cages, etc.
3. Physical Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.

Work Conditions

1. Temperature. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 60F and 90F in most areas. On hot days, temperatures can exceed 90F and on cold days temperatures can reach below freezing.
2. Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.
3. Dress code. Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required. Protective safety footwear required in select areas. $110 Zappos gift code provided for your first day.
