Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Martinsville, Virginia location to perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and provide patient services in a clinical setting. The position operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities for growth within a global diagnostic testing organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs accurately
• Deliver customer service and handle billing and payment collection

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid reliable transportation

Compensation: $17.75–$26.00 per hour
