Overview Job Description for a Supply Chain Network Scheduler located at Eaton, Rumford, RI. The role is On-Site at the specified location. What You’ll Do Develop timely and accurate plans for finished products at the assigned level of the supply network and for short-term finished goods availability in the markets within the 0 to 12 weeks horizon for their portfolio. Manage all exceptions in the short-term horizon and collaborate with Eaton network teams and external vendors to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventative actions to solve exceptions. Create the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Coordinate a team of CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers) to deliver the MPS Plan. Interface with operations to drive schedule adherence. Report and analyze key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost and customer service results. Manage all 0–12 week horizon exceptions where there is an imbalance in demand and supply, collaborate on root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Ensure capacity shortages are addressed or escalated. Evaluate and share the impact of material exceptions on the short-term FG plan with material planners. Monitor customer on-time service level and inventory exceptions in the short term. Participate in decision making and movement of slow-moving inventory within the value stream. Monitor planning parameters accuracy by conducting periodic audits and updating ERP as needed. Act as primary point of contact for product availability in their value stream. Stay close to demand information to react quickly to changes. Own escalations and bring them to a conclusion in cooperation with material planners, buyers and production schedulers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years combined professional experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. Access to export-controlled information requires being a U.S. person as defined by U.S. Government export regulations. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years experience in supply chain management.
